5/7/14 -- First HHS 1965 Class Email for Fiftieth Reunion

5/7/14 --  After much urging, as well as electronic action from our Motivator-In-Chief, Jim Detelich, we sent out the first message from hickoryhs65@gmail.com with about 80 email addresses from Gayle Yeager, used for the last reunion.  Of these, 20 came back bad, so we started the road to 2015 with email contact with 60 classmates out of 296.  The first message:

Greetings to all Hickory Hornets of the Class of 1965!  In case you haven't noticed, it's been nearly fifty (that's 50, not 23!) years since we graduated.  A groundswell of demand is building for a Fabulous Fiftieth Class Reunion next summer.  Francine DiNardo (Fragle) has stepped up to lead a committee that will plan this extravaganza.  If you want help out, send her an email at frandinardo@yahoo.com, or call or text 724-967-2126.  An initial brainstorming meeting is set for May 21, 2014, at 7 pm at Jess's Restaurant, 3640 East State Street, Hermitage.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14, 2015.  Maybe the next day, as well!   Location will be Avalon Golf and Country Club at Buhl Park in Hermitage.  More details to come.

NOW, there is something you can do to help right away.  We only have email addresses for about half the class and would like to get the rest.  Please look at the list below.  If you know and may share any email addresses for the classmates listed, please reply to this email with that info.  You may also want to forward this message to anyone listed below.
